As a wedding and portrait photographer, I believe that photographs have the power to capture moments that would otherwise be lost in time. My own personal experience of losing loved ones and realizing there were few photos of us together fueled my passion to document people's special moments and create images that are not only beautiful, but meaningful.
Whether I'm photographing weddings, families, or individuals, my focus is always on creating a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere where my clients feel at ease, and more like friends than just subjects. With over 10 years of experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and skill to every session, ensuring that my clients receive the highest quality photos that they can cherish for years to come.
What's the saying? "If you love it, set it free, if it comes back to you it was meant to be?" I never thought that could be true for anything other than a human love interest but here we are. Through all the crazy ups and downs in my life, the one constant has been photography. Growing up in a family where photography was more of a religion than a hobby, where family vacations were planned for photographic moments, it's hard to believe I thought I'd do anything else.
And while I've taken side quests in music and nonprofit work, it wasn't until a pivotal moment of deep loss that it became crystal clear what my calling has always been: documenting memories and moments otherwise lost in time.
When all is said and done, the most important thing to me is that my clients walk away with images that show help resurface their favorite memories, surrounded by the people they love the most.
Born and raised on a barrier island off the coast of Massachusetts with a love for salt water and sea air. I moved to Pensacola, FL in 2011, began photographing weddings, and the rest is history.
I love dogs and Jesus, the holiday season and the weather channel (for real). I believe coffee is a food group and and there's no such thing as a bad taco. I can't stand the heat and I dream of living in the mountains. Nothing beats a glass of wine and laughs with girlfriends.
Over the last decade, I've photographed weddings and portraits from Boston to Miami, Lake Tahoe to Jamaica, and plenty of places in between. I'm currently based in Mobile, AL living my favorite life chapter as a newly-wed and step-mom. I'm thrilled to continue this passion as a wedding and portrait photographer and expand my offerings to brand and corporate work in 2024.
