I had met both Paul and Jennifer through different mutual friends. I had heard (through the social media grapevine) that Paul had met the woman of his dreams. It wasn’t until I was sitting down with Jennifer for coffee to discuss her wedding plans that I realized that she was that woman.
And only at their engagement session, where I saw them together, did I truly understand what these two had.
The way he looks at her. The way she can’t keep her hands off of him. The way they speak to each other without even saying a word.
And yesterday, their love story began a brand new chapter. The way he looks at her and the way she can’t keep her hands off of him – their ways have only grown.
They gave this single gal a little hope for real love after all.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for letting me be the one to document this most special day for you two. Here’s a little peak to hold you over while you enjoy your beautiful honeymoon in Charlotte!
Jennifer planned an incredibly beautiful wedding for their guests to enjoy. Everyone went home with a sweet potted succulent.
The girls got ready at the Lee House, where her reception was also held. These girls looked beautiful even before they put their dresses on. Jacey with Skin Beauty worked her magic on Jennifer’s incredibly long hair and completed her flawless look with airbrush makeup.
Jennifer’s sweet mother was there to help her get ready. These moments are always some of my favorites.
I absolutely loved the choice for tan linen for the guys paired with the mint bowties. Lookin’ good, Paul!
Jennifer looked flawless. I literally have no words.
And their bridal party looked pretty strapping as well.
Jennifer and Paul opted not to do a first look. Instead, their very first sight of each other was walking down the aisle at Bartram Park.
The beautiful flowers were done by Celebrations, the Florist in Pensacola. Perfect for a summer-like wedding.
The happiest couple I ever did see.
With the plans to rain all weekend, Megan K assisted in getting these two a backup plan for their special day. I’ve never seen a more elegant and beautiful backup plan. Chloe of Supposey created a beautiful display on the roof of the tent that made it feel that much more intimate and elegant. The Lee House courtyard was transformed in to a completely unique setting for dancing, eating, and celebrating.
Their first dance was precious. One of my favorite Gulf Coast Bands, Continuum, was in the house performing Can’t Help Falling in Love with You. I’m not going to lie, friends. I shed tears as they sang the song to each other on the dance floor.
Listening to their best of friends give their toasts and enjoying sweet quiet moments together.
Jennifer and Paul chose to forgo the traditional sendoff with sparklers or glow sticks and ride off into the night. Instead, they departed with their family and friends wishing them well from the front steps of the Lee House as they rode off in this sick convertible.
But they weren’t riding off to their honeymoon just yet. These two spoke to me in ways they had no idea they were doing. They chose to leave with an hour left of daylight so we could go take bride and groom portraits on Pensacola Beach at sunset.
I mean, seriously. Who does that? The best clients ever, that’s who.
And the rain clouds and stormy sea made for the most beautiful backdrop for these two. The colors. The light. The romance. They had it all.
Congratulations, Jennifer & Paul! Marriage looks good on you!
